Misha and Masha are one of the most lively characters in the zoo. American red squirrels live in a 5m2 cage. Miša and Maša love to play outside in nice weather and hide food. In bad weather, they tend to spend their days in the nest. With their strong teeth, they like to crack nuts the most. Squirrels are relatively tight-lipped and hide their winning nuts from each other. Days go by looking for each other’s nuts and hiding them from each other again.
